In June it is the season of rain and water. In the rainy season, blue and pale pink hydrangeas bloom and sway in the rain. I present the combination of the utensils for this time to enjoy the moisture and the water while listening to the sound of the rain.
The hanging scroll: You can imagine the landscape on the bank, where green trees and lush flowers grow.
"Natsume" (tea container): Rikyu's traditional pattern of "bamboo grass" with lacquer painting and drops of pearls.
"Mizusashi" (flesh water container): Glass in light blue with gold foil. Wave wheel on the back of the lid. When water is put in, the foil radiates and the water appears to be moving in waves .
"Futaoki" (lid rest): Kaga (Kanazawa), Karakane (Chinese bronze) inlay "Peach".
Tea bowl: Ninsei "Tsuyu-kusa" (dew grass) made by a woman artist in Kyoto. Matcha shines in a flat tea cup with a soft pattern.
The thin, light blue summer kimono also looks cool, as if reflecting the surface of the water.
