This is the last practice session of the year in December.
We were able to spend the year enjoying tea with everyone through the four seasons. The hanging scroll is "無事" (safe). We are grateful for our health this year and pray for safety next year.
The lady making the tea is wearing a chic kimono, and the quiet sound of the hot water echoes through the tearoom.
The tea bowl has a picture of a yuzu citrus, and the tea container (“natsume”) is lacquered with a ginkgo. They are displayed on the utensil stand at the end of the tea procedure.
The sweets are "Ume Shigure" in Yamagata and Christmas Wasanbon.

"Ume Shigure" is the gift by the student who comes from Yamagata and is a famous sweet with a refreshing plum scent.
We hope for another good year next year.
